I would like to invite and welcome any and all of you who will participate in the second annual Trillium Tour. We have listened to the comments from last year's participants and made some significant changes based on their comments. I think they will make the event more enjoyable for more people.
We have worked hard to keep the event fresh. Although some of the roads
are the same great driving roads from last year's route, we have
included many kilometres of new roads, for your driving pleasure and
scenic viewing. And we are working on providing a very entertaining
guest speaker. We'll be able to announce details very shortly, so check
back for news and updates on the event.
The Delta Grandview is our host venue. The "Tour" will start and finish there and we will enjoy their facilities for our more formal events Saturday evening - the cocktail party, Silent Auction for Chrysalis, gourmet dinner and guest speaker.
I am very excited about our new venue for the Show N' Shine for Chrysalis. The Cottage Waterfront Grill is located in downtown Huntsville and is right on the river. We should create more interest from passing cars and walkers, so our donations for Chrysalis should be higher. Some high profile companies are assisting in making the Show N' Shine even shinier by bringing some of their show vehicles for our viewing pleasure. If you feel the tour is too strenuous, join us for the Show N' Shine, all cars are welcome.
Mark the first weekend of June on your calendar. It's time to get your car out and give it a good first run of the season.
